Molecular Spectroscopy requires a range of technologies, including pick-and-place automation for moving sample tubes, sample injection automation to reduce sample contamination and consumption of rinse-solutions, and basic autosamplers for delivering samples to the analyzer. A variety of pumping technologies are also used to manage the delivery of samples and rinse solutions as needed.
